Gastronomy

Specialties here are based on sea food; dishes prepared according to the ancient recipes with use of local aromatic herbs being the main characteristics of the island's cuisine. Fresh sea fish, scampi and squid prepared in a number of ways, molluscs, and lamb cooked “under the bell” are the specialties of these islands. Amongst the wines on offer, the local wine from the island of Susak is especially notable. All the above mentioned specialities and more can be tried in our restaurants: Marina in the the Y/C Marina Mali Lošinj, the Klub kapetana restaurant located just a few minutes’ walk from the Y/C marina, and the Zakantuni restaurant in heart of the town.
